About the Position
Foursquare is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in New York City office; on a hybrid schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Admin/Developer to optimize our Salesforce CRM capabilities and expand our utilization. The ideal candidate is able to translate our business needs into efficient technical solutions that align with our company goals, has a background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, and has a strong command of programming languages like JavaScript or SQL. This role is responsible for creating custom software applications on the Salesforce platform that meet our specific requirements and other daily operations (e.g. maintaining Salesforce integrations with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security, and troubleshooting).
In this role, you’ll
- Design and build custom applications on the Salesforce platform, using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and other technologies to develop secure and scalable solutions
- Maintain Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems (e.g. Apollo.io, SellerCrowd, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zapier, Tableau, Ironclad(CLM)). Design and develop APIs and web services to ensure seamless communication between Salesforce and other applications
- Collaborate directly with GTM teams, and work closely with business analysts, project managers and other teammates to ensure that Salesforce solutions meet the organization’s business needs
- Collaborate with IT/Engineering/Data Warehouse teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions
- Create technical documentation and user documentation (i.e. user guides) and provide ongoing training for users
- Identify and troubleshoot issues and bugs related to Salesforce integrations and applications. Diagnose, resolve, and document technical problems to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementation. Continuously learn and adopt new features, tools, and Salesforce solutions to deliver innovative, cutting-edge services
- Customize Salesforce workflows. Create and configure custom objects, automation tools, and workflows tailored to streamline organizational processes
- Enhance the user experience by improving the user interface and ensuring ease of use for end-users, eliminating extra steps and automating processes
- Optimize data workflows. Implement efficient data modeling, data processing pipelines, and reporting mechanisms for streamlined data management
- Develop dashboards and analytics tools. Build insightful dashboards to track key metrics and inform decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce
What you’ll need
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I certification
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, JavaScript, Python, MySQL, and other Salesforce development technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce development and software engineering
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving abilities. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical issues and improving existing systems
- Analytical skills. Expertise in data modeling, data governance, and maintaining data hygiene
- Communication skills. Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- AdTech industry experience

At Foursquare, we’re committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect market standards and the unique strengths each candidate brings. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and office location. We also regularly review our compensation practices to ensure fairness, equity, and alignment with evolving market trends.
The estimated annual total cash compensation range for this role is $125,000 – $145,000. While final offers may vary slightly based on individual qualifications, we aim to stay within this published range to support pay equity and transparency across the organization.
Salary is just one part of our total compensation package, which also includes restricted stock units, comprehensive health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits.
